123 Free Solitaire

123 Free Solitaire is a stand-alone, Windows-based freeware game available from TreeCard Games. It is updated each year and reflected in the title (ex. 123 Free Solitaire 2003). The program allows the player to play one of 12 variations of solitaire. Each update swaps out about 4 of the 12 games, so it is beneficial to check back for future versions of the product. Features include the ability to change the designs on the back of the card (to one of about 8 differing ones), as well as the color of the background on which the game itself is being played. As well, an option to 'fade' the color is present. Each game includes the rules, odds of winning and whether it is more 'luck' or 'skill' which determines such. It is one of the most popular downloads on sites CNet and ZDNet, with over 7.7 million downloads between them.
