120 Collins Street120 Collins Street (currently known as BHP Petroleum Tower, however this name may change in the near future) is a skyscraper in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Built from 1989 to 1991, its roof is 220m above ground, however, if its spire were to be included, it would be Australia's tallest building, at 262m. It comprises 52 floors. The building was designed by architectural firm Hassell, in association with Daryl Jackson. 120 Collins Street, or 120C, is a postmodern style building, paying homage to New York's grand Art Deco buildings, such as the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. This influence can be seen in the building's granite facade, its setbacks and its central mast. 120C's roof is covered in communications equipment, most notably two symmetrical satellite dishes (each 6.8m in diameter), which also double as aesthetic elements. Its height is broken into three distinct sections by service floors, and other elements such as exposed air conditioning vents add to the modern style of the structure. See also
