1,3-Dipolar Cycloaddition

The 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition is an organic chemical reaction (specifically, a cycloaddition) between a conjugated 1,3-dipol and a substituted alkene to form a substituted fivemebered ring. Rolf Huisgen first saw the prospects of varying the 1,3-dipol and its high value for synthesis.
