.Dd

.dd was the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany). The "dd" came from the German language name of the country: Deutsche Demokratische Republik. It had a small number of hosts in 1988, but was taken out of use following the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Germany.
