Galapagos-islands

Galapapagos Tours can be organized for all tastes and interests. The most popular way of visiting the Islands is on board a small expedition ship or on board a private yacht. It is also possible to stay at a hotel on the 4 inhabited islands: Santa Cruz, San Cristobal, Isabela or Floreana and take day tours from any of the above islands.

There are 70 boats (yachts and small ships) offering Galapagos cruises, there is an option for every budget, from the luxurious 110 passenger Galapagos Legend to the economy oriented Rumba for 10 passengers. All tours are made in company of a Galapagos naturalist guide, your selection of an expedition should be determined by your budget, interests, time and love for wildlife.

Staying at a hotel in the Islands allows for taking day tours to nearby attractions, the best place to use as a hub for this type of tours is Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz island, it is close to the main airport Baltra and is the starting point for all Galapagos cruises.

Galapagos is the #1 site for diving around the world, almost every yacht in the Galapagos offers optional diving combined with its island visits, but if you want to visit the spectacular dive sites at Darwin and Wolf you have to join one of the special departures (dive only) that includes a visit to these islands.
