BALTRA -  Size: unknown / Max altitude: 15 m / Geography: Basaltic plateau, tectonic uplifting, and dry.

Fact(s): Main airport (built during WWII by Americans).  Mostly just visited for landing and beginning tour.

BARTOLOME - Size: 1.2 sq. kms / Max altitude: 114 m / Geography: Black volcanic sand, golden sand coves, tuff cones, spatter cones, scoria formations. Sights: Pinnacle Rock (70 m)

Fact(s): Landing: Dry (hike) wet (beach) / Flora: Salt bush, Morning glory, Prickly pear cactus, Red & White mangroves.  Fauna: Galapagos Penguin, Great blue heron.  Sea life: Spotted eagle rays, sea turtles (nesting Jan-March), sea lion colony, sharks.  Activities:  Short hike to Pinnacle Rock (70 m) with a view of 5 Islands, snorkelling
