The most beautiful beach in Rio you will find in Barra da Tijuca. At least that is the opinion from Maria Barbosa.

I visited Rio 3 times and I also have the same opinion.

Barra da Tijuca is the best beach,but is far away from Copacabana (about 20 km).

To discover Barra da Tijuca,the best is to take a bus until the "Praça Antero Quental"

in the Ipanema neighborhood .It´s a little park in the "Av. Bartolomeu Mitre".

After to take a taxi and say who drives toward "Av. Erico Verisimo" in Barra da

Tijuca.The sight through the road are really wonderful!!!!.
