The Palouse

The Palouse

About six hours east of Seattle in the south-eastern section of the state you'll find beautiful farming bliss. A favorite location for photography this region also offers some great back road America exploring. A really fun place to get lost for a long weekend.

The main town in the Palouse is Pullman (home to Washington State University) which makes a good base for hotels and restaurants.

Also, near by, is Walla Walla, an up and coming Napa'esque winery city. Home to the quaint and picturesque Whitman College

Tons of photos of this region can be found here. http://suletzki.com/Palouseweb/default.asp
