Trenton

Trenton is the capital of New Jersey and located in the centre of the State. It is a city with a lot of history - it played an important role in the Independence War and you will find many buildings that date from the 18th century. The town hall is the second oldest town hall that is still in use in the whole of the United States. It also possesses the only free-standing Revolutionary War Barracks, which has become a living museum. The William Trent House, as well as Kuser mansion and the Nottingham Tavern (located in adjecent Hamilton) are other historic highlights.

Trenton and Hamilton were also home to the Leni Lenape Native Americans, and there are sites and museams across the area dedicated to this tribe.

Trenton is also a very lively city. The Patriots Theater located in the Trenton War Memorial, the Soverign Bank Arena, and Waterfront Park (Baseball Field) draw many top performers.  You will also find many wonderful restaurants which cater to every kind of traveler.
