North America

North America consists of four countries, the United States, Canada Mexico and Greenland.

Of these countries, the U.S. receives by far the largest amount of travellers. New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle are only some of the well known and exciting cities. These places may not have as many old monuments as you usually find in Europe, but sheer natural beauty makes up for the lack of history. The Everglades, Yellowstone and Yosemite are among the best National parks in the world.

Mexico also receives many visitor. Mexico City, Acapulco, Baja California are all top tourist attractions. Yucatan with its many Maya sites should be on top of your priority list as well.

Canada has great cities like Toronto, and Vancouver, where the view around Vancouver bay is stunning. Together with the two cities in the French speaking part, Montreal and Quebec City , these places with many museums and lots of sights are well worth a visit. In between there is lots of nature, woods, rivers, lakes, mountains so the richness of the countryside combined on a large area makes Canada the second biggest country in the world.

Greenland is great for adventurous traveling if you are not afraid to catch a cold. Large parts of Greenland are covered with snow all year round.
