Lausanne Lausanne, better known as the Olympic City of the world, is a small city that has a lot to offer. There are several good museums (besides the famous Olympic Museum) and some interesting sights, such as the Gothic Cathedral. Built on three hills, Lausanne offers some astonishing views of the surroundings. It’ll only take a short walk to take a boat tour on the lake or a short ride to explore the great snowy outdoors.
