Some 350 south of Stockholm, close to Kalmar and Oland you find the Kingdom of Chrystal as Smaaland is often names because of the man glass making factories you find in the area. All twenty of them offer free tours and most have shops selling their wares. Vaxjo has a glass museum as well as one dedicated to Swedish emigration to the United States in the 19th century.
