Helsingborg There are several ways to get to Helsingborg. By Air: The local airport, Ängeholm-Helsingborgs Flygplats (AGH), is located outside the nearby town of Ängelholm. Even though the airport has international status there are no scheduled international flights, however local travel companies offer special trips to international fairs and events. Two companies fly the route to Stockholm, SAS to Stockholm Arlanda (ARN, Swedens biggest airport) and Kullaflyg to Stockhom Bromma (BMA, City airport). By Boat: Three companies transport passengers from Helsingør to Helsingborg. Scandlines the biggest and with most frequent departures is also the most expensive. But they ahve a sizable shop for buying tax-free cigarettes and a nice restaurant. HH-Ferries are the low-budget option if you travel by car but their terminal in Helsingborg is located in the middle of the industrial harbour and is not recomended for pedestrians. Sundsbussarna are the smallest boats and only take passenegers but the boats are also the fastets. By Train: SJ, Swedens state owned train company offer routes to Helsingborg from most cities in Sweden, changing trains in Gothenburg or Hässleholm. By Bus: For the low budget traveller bus is the best option. Swebus Express arrive from Stockholm and Oslo/Gothenburg with no need book, or the even cheaper (but remeber to book) Säfflebussen have a route stopping in Helsingborg from Oslo to Berlin and a Stockholm connection.
