Valencia Valencia does have an airport, but it is not near the downtown area. You can take a bus, train, or taxi to get to closer to the city. For the bus.... You can catch a bus right outside the airport. The bus is not a fast very fast, but it is fairly inexpensive. You will have to take some sort of transportation from the bus station as it is not near downtown. I would not suggest arriving there at night for safety purposes. For the trian.... You can also catch a train to the downtown train station, but you have to walk across a few larger streets. You will arrive right in the middle of downtown and will not be far from the hotels/hostels. I would suggest taking a taxi from there, but you will also be able to take the bus or metro. For the taxi.... A taxi is the most convenient option for getting to any place, but it can also be fairly expensive.
