Sveti Stefan This is the main tourist resort in Montenegro consisting of two luxury hotels and many surrounding lesser accommodations. Many English visitors stay here and once you've visited you can see why. White shingle and pebble beaches with crystal blue sea, backed by a shaded promenade with fantasic little cafes that are filled with the dodgy sound of "Balkan" Euro pop! For the first time in many years, I truly felt I could spend a weeklong beach holiday somewhere, that somewhere being Sveti Stefan.
