Ceriale

The Village of Peagna of Ceriale is a very ancient a typical Ligurian village in the upper part of Ceriale accessible by a road and a means of a narrow and gently sloping alley, lined with pots of geraniums and basil. It is quite known for the "Ligurian book's fair" held every year which gives also prizes for the best short-film about Liguria and is now quite famous all over the region and outside.

The festival is also the occasion to participate to presentations and debates, for more than a week, with very important people of the Ligurian and Italian or French culture, brought here by a very dinamic organization that every year make the festival more and more interesting.

The place is a starting point of a nice and interesting walking path The Fountains Path" leading toThe High Way of the Ligurian Mountains which has here one of the nearest points near to the sea and therefore with wonderful panoramas and sceneries.
