Ceriale

Ceriale economy is mainly based on tourism, agriculture and fishing. While agriculture found its main production on vegetables, flowers, olives and grapes which are cultivated in a very advanced way, fish is still "fished", through the ancient way, throwing the nets into the sea and not using farmed fish. Quality varies depenfing on the season.

One small but specialised activity is concerning some ship building yards which still are able to produce ancient typical Ligurian boats and ships with modern technologies.

Tourism is now becoming more and more important and now a particular effort is put on to prepare the town to offer its best during sumertime with its nice beaches, campings for every taste and money and the park "Le Caravelle", a real paradise for all lovers of aquafun, sea-waves swimming pool and many other attractions and where during summertime are held many events.
