Pescasseroli For all practical purposes Pescasseroli is the best base for exploring the Abruzzo National Park. It's the most accesible twon in the park with several buses and trains connecting it to Rome and Pescara. there are a few good option for accommodation as well as eating out. Nightlife is rather limited. The helpful tourist office is located on the via Piave across from the ploice station. The Ufficio di Zona, de park authority, is located just off piazza Sant'Antonio.
