Tzakhadzor Tzakhadzor is the place to go skiing. It is located some 60 km from Yerevan, just off the main road to Sevan. From the mountain you have great views over the valley and on a good day you can see the lake Sevan. The nuclear plant in the valley is also visible on cloudy days. The lifts are not running every day, but it is always possible to convince the people who operate the machines to turn them on for you. A half day of skiing, gear and lifts, would cost you 20 dollars, cheaper if you are in a group.
