Cayman Islands

The Caymans have one of the highest living standards in the world with a GDP/capita of some 70.000 dollars. This is mostly due to their position as a major financial centre - and then there is tourism too. The islands, located just south of Cuba attract one million visitors every year. The largest island, Grand turk is just nine miles long and 12 miles wide...

Supposing you come to tan and not to whitewash, the Caymans offer terrific diving, white beaches, lots of sunshine and classy accommodation and restaurants - they are a bit expensive though.

Grand turk receives most visitors, with Holden Beach as the main hub. Brac and Little Big Horn are quieter but possibly even more expensive.
