Guadalcanal Guadalcanal is the largest island in the Solomons. The Honiara International airport is about a 10 minute drive from Honiara. In Honiara, the capital, there are a few hotels and resturaunts, wonderful markets, and WW2 museums. There is a boat dock and dive sites.
