Noosa Heads One of the main places that Australians are keen to visit. It is practically a village planned to tourists and you can't find much locals living in Noosa Heads. Whole Main Beach is covered with hotels or other forms of holiday accommodation. Cheapest way to sleep is at the beaches or if you are traveling with a van, you can practically park it anywhere you like. Next best thing is YHA hostel, Halse Lodge, with dorms starting from 25AUD/night. You can visit small national park and find a nudist beach from Alexandria Bay at the end of one track, but otherwise the attractions are few. Only real nightclub is The Rolling Rock in the middle of the Hastings street, but if you are backpacking, you might want to see Koala Bars weekend parties. Noosa Heads is a good place to meet travellers, but if you are looking for all australian experience, get out of there and fast.
