Koh-samui There are many ways to get to Koh Samui. The easiest but the costliest way is to fly. There are direct flights from Bangkok and Phuket to Koh Samui. The second way is to use a comfortable train journey. For this you will have to go to Hualumphong Railway Station. To go to Hualumpong from Bangkok International Airport, you can take a taxi or can use Bus Number 29 or 39. The train journey finishes at Surat Thani. From Surat Thani you will have to go to the harbour to catch a ferry for a pleasant two-hour ride to the island. Another way is to use an ecstatic 11-hour bus ride from Bangkok to Surat Thani. For this you will have to go to Southern Bus Station . From Hualumphong Bus number 7 goes to Southern Bus Station. At Surat Thani, you will have to go for a ferry for a two-hour ride to the island. It will worth to mention that you will forget all hassles in the journey once you are in the island.
