Johor Bahru The state of Johor and its capital Johor Bahru are located at the southern tip of Malaysia. Most Malaysians refer to the city only as JB. It is the gateway to Singapore connected by the 1038m long bridge. Most people do not stay long in JB. The most famous attraction is the former palace of the Johor royal family. It is a today a very interesting museum. There are some nice hotels and some not so nice. Nightlife is exciting and mostly pub based. Good shopping facilities and value for money for Singapore visitors.
