Unawatune A beautiful beach on the south west coast.The bay is set in amazing cove(?) with a hilltop dagoba (temple)overlooking it.If you don't want the hustle and bustle of the very German infuenced Hikaddua ,this is the place for you .You'll find first class traditional foods in the many beach shack restaurants,and plently of basic cheap accomodation.It's a laid back spot,often overlooked,but well worth the visit.Take the train to Galle ,and then a baj-baj down to this wonderful unspoilt beach.
