Everest-region

In case you don't know what to bring, first find out what the weather is like.

Pack light, good shoes, good sleeping bag, warm clothes, flashlight, enough money (you can only pay with real money up there), sunscreen, sunglass, raincoat, camera!

Living is very cheap in this region. To give you an indication: A lodge will cost you from zero up to 2 or 3 dollars. Food is also very cheap, rice will get more expensive as you get higher, potatoes get cheaper on high grounds. For about 1 to 2,5 Euro you can have a good evening meal (depends on how hungry you are). A cup of tea will cost you about 0.35 Euro. A Mars or Snickers bar will cost about 1 Euro.
