Sariska National Park

The Sariska Sanctuary is situated in the Arvali Hills. The total area of this reserve is somewhere about 800 Sq kms. The Sariska Reserve gives shelter to leopards, tigers, porcupines and different migratory birds, such as the spurfowl, the yello footed green pigeon and the rain quail. Over 200 species were recorded in the books. The best time to visit this place is throughout the year, except in July, August and September.

If you want more information, get in touch with the field director of the Sariska Tiger Reserve. There is a hotel, the Sariska Palace Hotel, in the middle of this forest. It was built for the rulers of Anwar when they went hunting in the old days. Luckily, hunting is not allowed any more and therefore one might spot one of the four horned antilopes or one of the langur monkeys.
