Ludhiana

Ludhiana is the commercial capital of the state of Punjab. It is a huge business centre for clothings and Hosiery. The weather ranges from reasonably cold to extremely hot during the summers in the early forties. The old parts of the city remain highly polluted. The city contains many colleges of the medical and engineering streams.

The city is well connected to all the main cities of the country by efficient road, rail and air network.
