Harbin Ha'erbin the provincial capital of Heilongjiang, situated in the very north of China hosts a winter ice festival well worth a visit during the months of December through to March if you can stand the sub zero temperatures. The ice sculptures beat any Disneyland creations and there are in abundance in streets and parks.
