Cappadocia Cappadocia is one of the most exciting destinations within Turkey. This is the region where the famous "fairytale chimneys" are to be found, strange formations of a soft kind of rock in which houses, mosques and other buildings have been carved. Goreme, best accommodation for exploring the area. The most spectacular sights are located within the triangle (Goreme). Tours to view the highlights can be arranged in any of these three towns. Goreme is the true heart of Cappadocia and if you want to see more than just the standard tour you should go there.
