Afghanistan

There is hardly any form of public transport left in Afghanistan. There are internal flights, but it is almost impossible to check when they leave. The main forms of transport are trucks and jeeps.

It might be a good idea to try to hitch a ride from international organizations. They go almost everywhere and most of the time they are very friendly and happy to speak to a fellow foreigner.
