Sudan Sudan is a large country in Northern Africa, bordering the Red Sea, between Egypt and Eritrea. It has very different climatical zones, ranging from dry desserts to fertile mountain slopes and the Nile valley. Interesting places to visit are Khartoum and Port Sudan.
