Calabar Calabar is the wettest city of Nigeria. Located in the far South East of the country it is an important stop over on your way to Cameroon. The town is small for Nigerian standards and pleasant enough. There is a good market, a nice museum and you can make a short excursion to Creek Town. The veiws over Calabar river are quite good as well. If you want to see Gorilla's, the Cross River National Park supposedly houses a few. Take a bush taxi to Ikom and arrange the rest of the trip there.
