Akure Akure is the Capital city of Ondo State. It is refer to as Akure Oloyemekun. Akure got it's name from the meaning which is a city situated where the neck jewery of the founder broke into pieces. It is located in the Cocoa producing area of Nigeria and the capital of the State where two of the most important and bigest projects in West Africa is taking place, Bitumen and LNG production.
