Serowe Serowe is one of Botswana's largest traditional villages and well worth a visit. It is set against rocky hills to the east. The village also boasts several other areas that are rather picturesque and worthy of viewing during morning or late afternoon. There is a museum in the village which houses the Bessie Head collection "manuscripts". From this village, travellers can move on to Central Kalahari Game Reserve via Orapa and continue on to Maun through the Makgadikgadi Pans. The village provides lodging facilities. The Pong Dam Lake Ramsar Sanctuary is within access as well.
