Moremi Game Reserve The Moremi Game Reserve covers approximately 20 per cent of the Delta. The Moremi is situated in the northeast of Maun. The Reserve has a wide variety of wildlife, elephants are plenty, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyena, jackal and a full range of antelope and red lechwe can be seen. Bird life is prolific including water birds. Moremi has four major camping sites, which are fairly developed with basic facilities like ablution blocks, picnic tables and standpipes. It is advisable to use only 4X4 vehicles while driving in the reserve since the roads are rough and sandy.
